Unwound Stack

I just uploaded XML-RPCAmp. Its a Winamp plugin that implements a little XML-RPC server exporting methods for controlling the player over the network.

You can get it from the Winamp plugin repository, or from it’s new project page here on Unwound Stack.

So one of the great things about where I live is the commute. No,
really– I head up out of the San Lorenzo valley into the Santa Cruz
mountains, through Saratoga Gap, and over the hill down into Silicon
Valley.

Since yesterday was a really nice, warm, sunny spring day (the
first we’ve had, I think), I snapped a few pictures on the way in:

This was looking roughly east (I think) out over the top of the San
Lorenzo valley from the overlook on Highway 9. Here’s a shot looking
south-west from Skyline:

I didn’t shoot any on the drive down Page Mill– the valley was
kind of hazed over, and I was late for work, anyway.

So I’ve re-designed the site…

After updating the old site in a desultory sort of way for the past couple of years, I’ve decided to revamp Unwound Stack. I dropped the heavyweight PHP-Fusion site & just went with a basic WordPress blog.

For those of you who’ve been reading, I’ll be restoring old content over the next few weeks. For anyone new, welcome– you might want to take a look at the profile page.
